this started off as computer CG-ing but i found that the colours just really started to clash (i mean.. red hair and fushia robe... really, now!) and i didn't have time to de-uglify what i had started in time for CN, so I went backwards and just cleaned up my original sketch and printed it on my all time favourite paper stock to give it some nice texture (its called "desert storm".. u have to see/feel it in real life to appreciate it)i know kenshin's a really old anime but i think its one of the classics

actually it was pencil. i just played with the levels/contrast in photoshop to get the darker lines. usually i like to use 0.2mm pen

Haha, I liked the movies. Trust and Betrayal. Or Samurai X or somminkz. I havent watched it in forever, and I had borrowed to movies, but lets just say, the series never saw blood like this movie did. When I went to watch the anime, I was expecting to see some hardcore ripping, but instead it was like baby Kenshin and his band of babbling wussies.

o.o its a shonen manga and anime, anyway the manga is much more violent than the anime because the anime is censored cus its on TV its still one of the best despite not being gore fest

Haha, I'd suggest reading the manga but maybe you're more of an anime person. I've watched some parts of the anime and read the manga. I gaurantee the story is great, I don't know how well it is portrayed in the anime itself, but its awesome.

I have never really gotten into any mangas before, although my friends and family have been pushing em on me. But yeah...im feeling a little guilty continuing such a long conversation on alicia's picture, haha

oh, well to me manga of a series is better than its anime equivalent, that is in SOME cases the manga is way better because anime is often screwed up, however in SOME cases they're pretty much the same so the anime does it justice, but sometimes I hate animes of manga because they portray the characters weirdly or fill it with unnecessary crap a la Naruto Shippuden and Death Note anime
