I know right : D It was the first frosty morning I saw that year~ and then it started to snow some very watery snow (in Finnish we have a word for that; rΓ€ntΓ€)
And of course I still needed to row across a lake to get out of the cottage I was in~ (and so I rowed; it was snowing and it was also quite windy; what a great experience it was)

In english we just say a mixture of snow and rain because we aren't creative enough to make a cool word lol
That seems really cool, like a mini adventure

I think we have around 50 different words
for different kind of snows.
In general Finnish is indeed quite creative language, we have wordsΒ  for really crazy things,
for example juoksentelisinkohan means 'I wonder if I should run around aimlessly'
This mainly because we decline words by adding suffixs. A simple word like dog/koira can turn
into many, many different things -> i.imgur.com/QFm6SCE.png (all these really have a meaning)
Also, now that I got started, here's a little meme about Finnish grammar -> rs1img.memecdn.com/my-mind-is-…

It really was : D

I KNOW RIGHT.
(I remember drawing a salmon-snake, which was really just 50/60 both as a kid, pfft)

And guess what, dragonfly's Finnish name doesn't have anything to do with snakes or salmon xD
In Finnish it is sudenkorento, susi means wolf and suden is wolf's
korento refers to insects with long wings, like dragonflies and mayflies
so in the en dragonfly would be wolf's fly or something : D

Finnish is ridiculously complicated and innovative c:

THAT IS WONDERFUL :'D

That's pretty cool! Instead of dragonfly it's like, wolf-fly!

I can agree entirely with that statement lol
