That's why I think MLP should end this generation and come back in another decade or so. The bronies have become so rabid and spiteful over the show itself AND its own fandom that they forget what MLP was, is, and always will be about: Friendship and kindness. It started that way, but now its become so skewered that there is NO hope left.

There is PLENTY of hope left! It's the people that act poorly and think negatively that just need to realize that they're misrepresenting the show's intentions. But the supporters far outweigh the ones who spread hate, for sure! The only reason there are people that act up is because they can hide behind their computers and remain anonymous. In person, at places like conventions, everyone is kind and gets along with each other, no matter their interests or appearance. That's such a fantastic feeling to be at a place like that and see everyone being happy and friendly. The "internet tough guys" in person almost never are how they act online, which is pretty dumb...

Outweighs? Sorry, but the ones who act poorly and misrepresent the shows intentions definitely outweigh the good by sheer numbers alone. The only reason people act like that in conventions is because 1: They are around like minded people and 2: They'll get their asses booted from the con if they don't abide by the rules.
Remember save derpy? The canterlot wedding? Twilight becoming an alicorn? Princess Molestia and Pinkiepony? EQUESTRIA GIRLS?! I'm sorry but the shitstorms that ensued during those cannot just be overlooked and brushed aside because some bronies think they represent the goodness in society with all their "love" and "kindness".

I'm sorry but, you're being extremely negative which is contributing to the problem. =\ Staying positive makes a big difference in the world...

Negativity doesn't always equal bad. I'm just looking at the problem through a more realistic angle, therefore I can get a more firm grasp on what the problem is, therefore I can try to eliminate the problem most efficiently.

It's a shame that people act that way over a show that is literally to teach children the importance of being kind to others, accepting differences, and never to inappropriately judge others. =\

I agree with everything in this stamp. It's just too bad that there are ignorant rabid haters that generalizing every single MLP fan as retards and inhuman and they even give the sane haters a bad reputation...

I don't know why as a community we can't just all be accepting of each other, it's really NOT that hard. Here's how you do it: Just don't be mean! It's not difficult to ignore things or be nice, especially on the internet, because nobody is forcing you to look at any webpage and nobody is forcing you to make comments. What is the point of making someone feel down about themselves on purpose? I thought we as people learn not to do that in like pre-school. =\

I'd say those who are really messed up are those who just can't accept other people. You're a perfect example of that, congrats. You're today's biggest asshole.

Every fandom I know of supposedly has the same problem. If you don't go looking for OCs you probably aren't going to see that many, except for the really popular ones which are usually kinda cool. So again, I think you're absolutely right. It's all about having a god attitude and not worrying about little things.

That's exactly why people complain about the Sonic fandom, too. And yeah definitely! People make way too big of a deal over a silly drawings of colourful cartoon horses. XD
