i love how he comes from whiteness (love the negative space) and his tongue is just FABULOUS the fangs are subtle enough and the shading in the eye/nose area

This looks as if it were carved into the wall of a mountain. Kind of like a diabolical president....
Even the smallest details like the light glint on the eye make so much difference to the piece. I'd love to see a little more of a forehead, but i think you handled it well. bravo.

For certain minutes at the least
That crafty demon and that loud beast
That plague me day and night
Ran out of my sight;

You are a cross-hatching monster! haha. I think we should be able to see more of his upper teeth from the inside (upper right hand side). . or more shading there. . would add depth. . it is a bit flatty over there.
