This is my 1st attempt ever at woodburning. My Grandfather is very good with woodworking and has recently taken up woodburning. I was always curious so one day he just taught me how. When he showed the people at the woodcarvers club he belongs to my finished pices, they all agreed, there was no way that was my 1st woodburning! But it is true! I think what made it so easy to pick up on was the fact that it was so similar to the etchings we had to do in High School (a black board with white or silver underneath that you etched out with tools). Also the techniques are a lot like the ones you use when doing pen and ink. So...this is it! I just love how the wood makes it look so real...
