So yesterday, I was digging around in the pigsty which I call my room and I started emptying this crate to pack stuff in for moving off to college . . . I leave tomorri

Anyway, I find this old sketchbook and I couldn't help but skim through some old drawings.

AND THEN, I FIND HER! *points to the Warner to the right*

And it all comes back to me!

Before Marma, I had actually done an Animaniacs oc that I totally forgot about. O_o I'm a terrible oc creator person, ain't I?

Anyway, I first drew her in June 2006 at the airport, waiting for a flight to Costa Rica (it was a summer trip sponsored by my biology teacher). Yes, I remember all that. I remember sitting there and people in my group coming up to me saying "Oooo that's good. Are you going to draw the birds and stuff that you see in Costa Rica?" and then, I thought "Ha! Yeah right! Only if they start dancing around singing Yakko's World" which I was indeed trying to memorize at the time.

But anyway . . .
Her name was/is Anacarda which is a play of the word 'anarcado' - Spanish for cashew (what IS it with me and naming my characters after foods?!). She is from Spain and can only speak Spanish. She's kind of an opposite to Marma in terms of personality. Where Marma is more loud, out-going, plays hard to get, etc., Anacarda is quiet, shy, kinda frail. I found this other picture that I had done in the very same airport, where Yakko is trying to dance with Anacarda (me and the dancing, too - WTF?!) and she's trying to pull away and she looks kinda freaked out. O_o I dunno - I suppose she's one side of me while Marma is the other.

Now that I look at her, I think Anacarda is a little more creatively designed than Marma.

Marma: HEY!!!

Which I like. Meh, I'll keep 'em both around. As you know, I don't do a lot of oc work (only 2 or 3 personal oc pics out of 45!) So, you might see 'em every once in a while, but I don't plan on doing like 100 with those two.

So, Anacarda, say hello to the Animaniac masses.

Anacarda - Hola. Me gusta estar aqui, ahora. Espero que pueda ser una persona buena. =3

Marma - Yeah, what she said.
