Description
This is a hero design that I’ve had in my head for a while but haven’t brought out into any medium till now. Given this character’s theme the Halloween season would be the best time for his debut. Say hello to Mothman, essentially my version of Batman and Black Panther. Here is his bio:

Overview: Mason Tennant was young man from Point Pleasant who was born deaf, mute, and blind yet remarkably aware of his surroundings and exhibited a level of brilliance. His secret is that he is a psychic medium who gained understanding of the world through communicating with spirits. Through special assistance and help from his spirit guides he was able to graduate from college and become a part-time inventor. Since childhood he was fascinated with superheroes and the local legend of the Mothman but it wasn’t until a series of murders where committed in his home city that he became compelled to become a superhero himself. With his self constructed power suit inspired by the famous cryptid and aided by the spirits of the murder victims, Mason was able to track down and apprehend the serial killer thus starting his reputation as the Mothman.

Personality: Normally very reserved due to his handicaps, Mason is generally more comfortable around ghosts and spirits than living people, though his eagerness to learn more pushes him to interact more. As Mothman he is highly observant (explained how in personality and powers), meticulous, and critically thinking. He is more willing to interrogate any spirits in the vicinity but if there any key living witnesses he will discretely but thoroughly.

Powers and Abilities: Most of Mothman’s abilities come from his power suit which was inspired by a concept developed by theoretical physicist Michio Kaku (look up sci fi science superhero on Youtube). His suit is bullet proof and grants him enhanced strength and speed. A pair of winged, robotic arms grant him flight with the aid of a silent propulsion system as well as additional strength and grappling. His hands and feet are equipped with graphene claws to cling to surfaces and cut through obstacles. His hands are equipped with atomic magnetometers to read the thoughts of criminals he’s taken down. To compensate for his handicaps, Mothman utilizes brain to machine interface to detect his surrounding and translate his thoughts into verbal speech. Opting against normal vision, his suit detects vibrations, x-rays, thermal signatures, sound waves, even scent. As aforementioned, Mothman’s one ability unrelated to his suit is communicating with ghosts and spirits, which not only helps compensate for his lack of sight and hearing but allows him to gather information that no one else could.

His design may change over time but I would like your guy’s feedback.
