If you are a big fan of Assassin's Creed like I am, you have probably heard or read about some of the details that have surfaced regarding the next game due out on October 30.The setting is America during the Revolutionary War and Desmond's new ancestor will be of British and Native American descent. His name is Connor and, just like Altair and Ezio before him, he will kick some major ass and I'm sure he will be sexy as hell.
So here he is. This is a digital painting based on one of the official images published in the newest issue of the magazine Game Informer.
I can't wait to play that game!

I really love this game. Although I only rented it for about three days, I fell in love with it quickly. I got as far as the part when Conner was heading to the boat where Charles Lee supposedly was. Although I must admit, I think Connor is a little annoying haha

And I felt it would bt better in another setting, although it's nice to have a revolution game, I think my american history is as good as it can be, to learn of an older culture would be nice...

Thank you! I agree with the setting, it didn't impress me either. I'm not American but I'm Canadian and to me the huge forests, the cliffs, the snow, the farms, the forts, Native Americans, are all things that I grew up around or knowing about as part of our Canadian heritage so I found the whole concept of AC3's environments rather uninteresting to begin with.
Just like you, I think the AC games are at their best when they explore a much older part of the world's history because then the setting has a very exotic feel about it and I love that.

Yeah,and I have these huge arse woods right NEXT TO ME you know what would be AMAZING? If they had it next take place in spanish mexico. I always loved the idea of the spanish conquestadors, and the resistance, "viva la mexico": D

I loved Ezio too, and although I find the first assassin's creed game a bit of a bore, after to have played the others, Altair was an awesome character as well.... I'm glad that it was Connor's time. He's very different from the both of them, but awesome nontheless. There are certain scenes in the game that just blew my mind (in a good way). He is truly awesome in his own way

I assumed you have played that game now. what did you think of it? Personally, I hated the ending. Esp about Desmond (just in case you haven't finished it). They better make another AC game and finish it PROPERLY! I'm a HUGE fan as well and sad as it is, I think I have a major crush on the main characters *slaps herself* and the cause x)
I love this image of Connor btw. Shame it doesn't work like that, but I think we need an organization like this in real life

Awsome rendering! He just looks so powerful in black and white. I can't wait for the new game to come out! Conor looks like such a promising character in an epic time for America. I wonder if they'll do one during WW2? Anyway, I love the shadow work.

Thank you very much for the nice critique! I love working in black and white because I find it always brings out shadows a lot more than colour does.
I'm very anxious for this game as well, especially because even though it will be similar to the others before it, it will also be different in many ways. I'm really looking forward to the new gameplay mechanics Ubisoft will be introducing.
As for the new setting, well... I prefer my AC games to take place in an exotic location. I'm not American but I live in Canada and a lot of the scenery we see in that game is very similar to what I've seen all through my life, not to mention the whole Native aspect of Connor's heritage and upbringing. I'm not Native myself but they are a very important part of our Canadian heritage so there's definitely a strong sense of familiarity here. That being said, I think it's fantastic that Native Americans will finally have a hero of their own in a video game. That's just awesome...

My favorite design yet, not as fancy as Ezio and goes straight to the point like AltaΓ―r, but looks better IMO.

You have managed to find a great balance with this drawing. Not only can you tell it is a well drawn piece of art but there is a nice subtle 3 dimensional feel to him. Well done.
