My greatest fear has always been to turn blind. Four years ago, I learned that I have an incurable disease that potentially could make me go blind. I was in shock. Since then, I've had two operations where the surgeon implanted plastic tubes into the side of my eyes. With the correct medication, the damage has stopped spreading. I'll happily keep my eyesight for at least a few decades. This digital painting is probably about me processing what happened. Going blind is indeed scary, I think this might be my fear aswell. Being unable to see the beauty of the world, but also not being able to create art anymore, it is terrifying. I really hope you won't have to go through this, ever.

Thanks for the kind words, man. There's always a lot of uncertainty with these things; I just try to be thankful for everyday that I can see the world and be able to draw and paint.
