Especially with that old fashioned tram and thatΒ CitroΓ«n 2CV on the left side of the road while the photo is black and white. It's like all the other new cars are coming out of a time machine portal and meeting the 30's in black and white with the old cars. Or at least that's my vision on this picture.

This is great! I've been to the bridge but it was in the late evening and not even close to foggy... it actually closed when I was walking back to the San Diego side!

It's no myth, it's a reality. You were lucky to get the fake cable car in the shot, it really adds to the aura. It's lovely and old-fashioned in B&W and works well, but I confess, I prefer the Golden Gate in color. That's part of what makes it the Golden Gate despite the fact that it's not "golden" in color.

I love this shot! It's gorgeous. Even better than the version in colour, I think, since it helps focus the eye on the fog.
