i know right?! if i try hard to color well i make a lot of mistakes and stuff but if im just like bluh~ it usually turns out a lot better.

augh same, when i spend hours on more realistic/detailed coloring it looks like butt and when i just half-ass some simple shading and slap on a texture it looks gr8 WHY THAT MAKES NO SENSE......

me answering messages a million years late is also a thing that shouldn't happen but it does a lot, sorry u_u;
anyway yeah i've found that a lot of times trying too hard actually makes things turn out worse?? and also it's really unnecessarily frustrating to worry about every little mistake that no one else probably even notices so there are definitely benefits to not giving a shit sometimes :'D and trust me i should know because what even is effort
