Ishii the JR205-3100. His worked on JR's Senseki line till March 2011 as JR205 M9.His 3rd coach was scrapped and he was later donated to the KAI for use on in the British republic in 2013. He was then fitted with 3rd equipment and based in Camden. He was then sent to Soutchester in 2018.
A plaque was fitted including a wave that was painted on him. This was a memorial for the people who had died in the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster. He is often used on the red line. And now has a new 3rd coach, being from a Nambu line JR205-0.
The R means "Rebuilt" btw.
