Description
This is the Gate of Time from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I drew this while listening to the 25th Anniversary Symphony for The Legend of Zelda. Namely Gerudo Valley and Ballad of the Goddesses. I love that entire CD<3.I've been playing the game for the past week, and I just finished up. It completely blew me away. Anyways, I loved the design of this gate, and intend on using it in future pieces of art that I'm starting to work on.. so I made myself this stock image. I'd thought I'd share since there might be some of y'all who could use it as a reference or a background or something.
If you want it without the signatures and watermark (i have a pretty faint one on there), note me with your email address and I'll send you the full 5000x5000 png that I have. I also have one that isn't glowing.

Man, I almost thought I saw the symbols representing the Spirit Tracks temples on the outer edge. Then I looked up those symbols and tried comparing. The only one that was even close to possibly being the same is the one for the Forest Temple (the symbol at 3:00).
Sidenote: there are twelve symbols along the edge of the gate sign. Perhaps they're the numbers 1-12? Although, considering 10, 11, and 12 don't seem to share anything in common with any other number (1 for example), that would mean the Zelda world doesn't go by the same 0-9 number system...
That could lead to pretty large amounts of confusion for us, and doesn't even match up with the idea that rupees go by 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, and 300 since that suggests a 1-9 number system (they go by fives and tens).

Very nice......I haven't gotten this far in my walkthroughs yet (I don't have the game so that's my consolation for everything SS)......but I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it
