Wow, didn't know that. This is a hand blown glass ball, so not really a marble. But very, very similar.

Sometimes, hand blown glass balls were used as bullies- some kids got them at glass blown shops, and they were their favourite ones

There was a 60's song by Sam the Sham and the Pharoah's , (unfortunately i forget the tittle) in the back ground lyrics they say "Bully , Bully " a few times, actual reference to their childhood marbles

Thanks! I was experimenting with supplying external color, so used two flashlights with tissue paper over them to give additional points of light.
