I made this set for a contest on Breslo.ro. For this contest we are supposed to inspire our crafts from well known designers and create something for summer-fall of 2012.

Trying to find a name for this set a whole story started, once again, in my head... well, a part of the big story. You will find out about it one day.

Aurélie Bidermann and Sara Beltran are the artists who gave me the idea of the necklace. Aurélie Bidermann charmed me with her symmetrical and curved pieces. Sara Beltran surprised me with the organic aspect of her jewelry.

Thus a necklace, with wood aspect... or maybe leather, was born, symmetrical it its entirety, but having a bit of the asymmetry that is so dear to my soul, when you look at it closer. As I felt that other elements are needed, I made a bracelet too, which seems to be taken out of some fantasy video game. Even though I wanted to make the earring out of the same material, it seemed too much, so I made them out of rings and I am pleased with the result.

The textures were obtained manually, with no molds or texture sheets.

The necklace can be worn on both sides, the other side having the wood-like texture only, with no other colors added.

Materials: FIMO and Cernit polymer clay, acrylic paint, glossy varnish, transparent fishing wire, copper.
