I have this scene in my head where Elphaba is walking around Shiz during finals week. Everyone's playing pranks, mostly the seniors, to throw everyone off. Elphaba walks right into this idiot girl with a bucket of water. The girl picks on Elphaba randomly, and the more Elphaba starts to get more frightened, the more the girl taunts. Eventually, she tosses the water right at Elphaba's face.

Elphaba screams and tries to cover herself. The flesh of the left side of her face, ear, and hand are hit. She screams instantly. It is like acid tearing through her skin, the chemical reaction causing a sizzling sound. The the innitial splash was traumatizing, but it just keeps eating into her flesh, creating boils every few moments and bursting the next repeatedly over her body.

Needless to say, she's in agony. Plus there is now blood seeping between the wounds.

NO ONE can believe what is going on. The girl who threw the bucket is staring in horror, frozen in place.

Glinda happens to walk by the oddly still crowd and peers over the shoulders of her classmates only to see Elphaba kneeling on the floor with water slowly creeping towards her, and she's making these horrible, animalistic sounds of pain. Glinda screams and pushes past the shocked crowd, grabbing her roommate by the shoulders. Elphaba loses balance and falls into Glinda, nearly unconcious.
