Description Eventually something has been posted after a long gap! .

The Burrard Bridge in downtown Vancouver. This shot is an HDR photo, combined of 3 exposures -2,0 and +2 EV. The focal length and F Number kept constant and used tripod and remote control to minimize the camera shake.

nice shot! i like the tonemapping here. the colours work well I've been wanting to do an HDR of the same bridge actually, but haven't got around to it yet. I have, however, shot a couple HDR's from on the bridge though

thanks for the comment! HDR photo of a scene with highly difference in shadow and highlight gets a bit tricky. In "Coal Harbour" even though I took seven shots but it still has some grey noise.

you're very welcome! isn't that where HDR is supposed to come into play though? there wouldn't be a need for it if not for the dramatic difference between shadows and highlights in the first place. i see where you're coming from though. kinda makes you wish the slider for micro-smoothing in Photomatix went higher than 30, eh? since that's where the "noise reduction" takes place... depending on the scene though, sometimes noise works nicely - like a dark, morbid, evil type setting in any case though, you did a great job here.

maybe I couldn't excatly clarify what I intended to say! The "degree" of dramatic difference was what I meant. If you have a direct sun light along with dark shadow, it's hard to make a realistic image out of it unless you have some halos at the border of shadow and highlight which is something I try to avoid. In this shot, I waited untill the clouds covered the sun then I took the pictures. But other than that I agree with you and many thanks for your technical comment!

agha ye typo too neveshte ghabli dashtam ke yeki az bacheha lotf kard yadavari kard. oon 3.5 Mb (Mega bite) hast na 3.5 MP (Mega Pixel) . hala baraye baghie ke mikhoonan, az nazare pixel JPEG va RAW mesle haman. vali ye bakhshi az ettellaat to JPEG hazf mishe. inam eslahiash!

marvelous shot! i'm impressed you got it from just 3 shots, it usually takes me 5 or 6 shots if i want to avoid grey noise (of which you have none at all). great capture

thanks a lot photofairy! , I actually waited for clouds to cover the sun to reduce the bracket between highlights and shadows and basically the contrast. For "Coal Harbour" [link] since it was a direct sun light, I had to use 7 shots! Thanks for your comment .
