And yes, I might be bashing RLNT a bit here, but all for fun, people. I don't think it's the best pairing in the whole HP-verse (even if it IS canon), but there have been worse.
Tonks's hair is still mousy because. I miss the pinkness.

Ahhh, H/G was really a sad little pairing. I can't say I hate RLNT exactly, but any person can see that they weren't good for each other.

They really weren't.... She's all wild and hyper and he's had thirteen years of solitude and anguish. While he doesn't need to be babied or pitied he also doesn't need someone loud and annoying like Tonks. He needs someone who would understand him. Someone who went through the same shit he did, which is why I like him with Sirius so much.

What I really hate about RLNT is that their character development (BOTH of them) crashed and burned when they got together. Tonks became needy and clinging: she 'lost' her powers when Lupin rejected her, she was always looking for him in the final book, it was pathetic. When people asked her what she was doing in the battle at Hogwarts instead of taking care of Ted, she said that she was worried about Lupin. I would have understood if she said that it was her battle, she was a member of the Order and she was fighting for what she believed in. BUT no, she was there because her husband was there. Talk about pathetic.
Lupin, on the other hand: where do I even begin? He was a MESS in Deathly Hallows, he didn't know what to do with himself most of the time and he was almost always running away. The thing about Lupin is that he's total pants at expressing himself and he's kind to the point of stupidity. What I like about him being with Sirius is that he's comfortable with Sirius. There's a side to Lupin that only Sirius knows about (like when Sirius mentions Lupin 'talking about Umbridge', we don't get that. We have no idea what Lupin feels about Umbridge, but Sirius does.) So in the end, Sirius gets Lupin's bullshit, and that's why they work so well together.

Yeah. Tonks and Remus somehow became the Bella and Edward of Harry Potter..... Ew.
I also didn't like Ginny because she had no real development.... She went from being a shy girl to becoming a Mary Sue. Literally. She suddenly became strong, smart enough to invent the Bat Boogie curse, and a hell of a Quidditch player. In other words, everything Harry would be into.
