when I look at the ground---
I don't have premium membership so I can't request a critique, but I need it. I'd be grateful (and I mean 'Llama grateful') for any kind of constructive comment.

It does look like butterfly wings, I'm assuming this is what you're trying to accomplish.
You have a nice use of the rule of 3rd's, there's alot of strong lines in the image that really lead you round the composition and draw you in.
Also a suggestion, maybe if you have Photoshop or other editing software, when you think about contrast you should think about the different textures, like the bottom left corner looks slightly over-grainy but it still looks nice, maybe this was your intention?
