this took me many many hours DDDD:
But I think it was worth of it
This is maybe the most detailed draw I've ever done (?)
The characters represent a duo, the violin and the piano
the violin is male, but he's a little bit effeminate LOL

The background is not difficult, but my hands are about to explode
The lineart is made with SAI and colored with PS CS4

Maybe you could have set some spot light on the characters, to enhance the fact they're dancing on a stage, and to make them stand a bit more from the background. Since the background have values very similar to the characters (in terms of "brightness" I mean), they don't pop enough I think ^^
I love your stained glass effect for the background, and the fact that it's all a music box. Maybe I would have darken the "outside" of the music box.
Anyway, despite those critics, I really like the design of their outfit and their pose. It's so graceful and elegant, having two characters interacting is something I find very difficult ! And your hands are so perfect.... ^o^

Yeah, I know DDD: It is a little bit hard to distinguish the characters from the background, they are so colored lol
I don't receive critics often, so I have to thank you~ Then I can see what I can improve :>
Also, the character's lineart was made with SAI and the line became very thin when I opened photoshop to color it :S
This was made for a challenge, so I don't know if I can change anything now. I'll follow your advice and update a better version when the winners are announced ^___^

Pues a decir la verdad es q lo hice a lo cutre porque no sabia de q otra manera lo podia hacer xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Mi PS no tienen ninguna herramienta como el paint para hacer circulos sin relleno XD
asi q primero hice un circulo aplastado, y despues fui haciendo selecciones en forma de circulo para ir eliminando el relleno
asi hasta que quedase una linia mas o menos finita xD
despues dupliquΓ© la mitad del circulo, por la parte de abajo y lo situΓ© por debajo del circulo, e hice las dos lineas rectas de los lados
