Thought it was an explosion at first. Then I realise its a leaf. But the explosion idea won't get out of my mind.
So I think of leaf-bombs. And I like the idea.

Something like bombs made so that when they explode - instead of shrapnel, they spread fast-growing seeds.
So depending on the bomb - in a day or two you have either flowers, grass or small bushes growing there.
Something like that.
Hmm.. and I think I just got the idea how to implement a basic low-tech prototype.
