As far as I'm concerned, Zuko spends his evenings at the WAT alone in his room, mooning over a portrait of his painfully distant girlfriend and wondering if she'll even talk to him when they see each other again.(OH GOD THAT NOTE THAT I AM COMPLETELY CONVINCED SHE NEVER ACTUALLY GOT. THE NOTE HE SPENT AN ENTIRE EPISODE WRITING AND CAREFULLY PLACING UPON HER BED.)

I love it a lot. 
I really could imagine such a scene, and even without a picture, when he lays alone in his rooms while they others do their campfire party. But the ideas of the three pictures is lovely.
