Seems that John finally trusts Samus enough to call her friend. Not that either is quite ready to admit it.

I find it amusing that so many people find Samus' Zero Suit to be an attempt at selling by sex; i'm not saying its not, but have any of these people SEEN what she used to wear? Bikinis and sports underwear. A bodysuit is actually pretty modest compared. Now, DOA girls are just a sickening sex-sells show. Even then, whats is she going to wear under her armour? Ski wear? Her outfits, as skimpy as they have been, are practical when encased in a power suit.

Anyhow, finally the two have a chance to unwind and put thier helmets on some rocks. I had a few reasons for this, first there isn't yet a Zero Suit Samus model, but mostly because even if i did there is no reason to show her yet, since i'd have had to leave Chief offscreen. All we know about him is he has brown hair and freckles. When i use ZS Samus (when a model is released) it's going to be for storyline reasons.

ANYWAY.

Now, i need to work on Chapter 3. These first 28 comics were something of a testing and getting used to doing things phase. I don't feel they spent nearly enough time in any of the worlds; things could have been so much deeper. The Halo world especially, so i plan to go back there eventually, maybe even leave Chief behind and pick Samus up another travelling partner? Up to you guys. Bear in mind this will be a looong way ahead.

Either way, next Chapter i think i will introduce our 3rd and (possibly) final Team-Shift member. Still, i'm not too sure. Guess you guys will find out in a few weeks.

Until then, please comment on my comics; favorites are nice, but it's fun to hear from people too.

UPDATE!

Despite long having a plan to continue this series... I think looking back this makes a good end point for now. Two years on. Hah, time flies.

I lost my drive to continue at first when I lost my models and maps and had to go about re-downloading them. Then I lost my drive when it took months for a decent Zero-Suit-Samus model to be created. More recently the portrayal of Samus in the new game just finally killed what little shred of desire to continue that I had. I no longer even have Garry's Mod installed; though I still find myself collecting models.

Maybe one day, eh? Heh, sorry to have to give bad news. It was always a lot of effort for very little payout anyway. Each image could take ages to get right. Then i'd post them and see plenty of views but very few comments.

Soon i'll be getting an iPad and working on my drawing skills. If I do that then I may likely one day finish what I had planned in a different format.

So... the Chief and Samus get to carry on their adventure, but ti will be offscreen as far as I can see. Which admittedly isn't far. Imagine what you will. Maybe they become lovers. Maybe they both meet signficant others on their journey. It's all up to the imagination.
