Perhaps his main concern was the hidden light, the intrinsic divinity to be found within the person (instead of without, in some external authority or organization). That is what made me connect your painting with him and i think its valid. The bold color use also gives me the impression of strong passion and freed desire that i think he would approve of. <3

This inner light research is present in most of my pictures too - in Emerging, Protected, etc. and specially in "Warm" - als spiritual core of the person. That is may the tie between lot of artists and uns proccess.

True... Sometimes the flame burns until only ashes are left... But I think creativity is like a phoenix, and rises again from the ashes.
