So when I saw that event, I just couldn't help myself but to draw those two as characters from Until Dawn. Seriously. THIS GAME I wasn't sure which character to pick for Ace to play but in the end Josh fitted him pretty well. His mask is hella cool as well. As for Jay I immediately knew he would be Sam. With his blonde main and his loyal but also ambitious personality he just matched her extremely well. Also. I love Sam <'3

I even gave Jay the exact same 'wounds' as Sam had them at the end of the game. Details, yeah XD This took me way too long, yep. But I think it was worth it. Kinda

"Can you even see something through that thing?" Nicks eyes were fixed on Ace while he was holding Jays reins. The stallion looked at whom he believed to be his rider with a confused expression. Ace sighed and took hold of Jays reins, leaving the stallion distrustful beside him. "Counter question: Was Josh able to see something through that mask?"
Nick went quiet for some time, thinking hard. "Yeah, well. We don't know."
Ace shook his head. "We do know. I wonder… have you even played the game correctly?"
"Have you?", Nick asked in return.
"Of course."
Nick raised his eyebrows. "You just played it because you thought that Sam and Jess are hot."
Ace shrugged. "And you killed them both."
"I said I'm sorry!"
"That didn't bring them back to life."
"Gosh, Ace, c'mon. You're not mad at me now, are you?"
Ace laughed but the laughter turned out darker and more evil than he expected it to be. Jays eyes widened. His expression was something between confused and disgusted. He sure was not a fan of all the fake blood in his fur. Less because he was vain but more because the liquid was sticky and glued stains of his fur together.
Just as Ace wanted to say something else, he heard the speaker calling out his name. He looked at the buckskin stallion next to him and patted his neck. Jay tried to back off as he still wasn't sure if this person really was Ace or someone else with the same voice but he eventually calmed down and stayed still. Even as Ace swung himself on his back Jay didn't move a muscle. "Wish us luck", Ace said, turning to Nick. "You don't need luck. Also you don't even believe in it", Nick said, smiling slightly. "Yeah, right", Ace smirked and gave his stallion the sign to trot. "See you around."
Jay made his way to the arena, which was decorated with tons of halloween stuff. The sky was dark but clear, the moon brightened up the surroundings a bit. The air was fresh and cold. Everything here surely suited the halloween theme.
As soon as they entered the arena, Ace could feel how Jay switched to his competition mode. The stallion always knew when to be serious and reliable. Also. He was loyal. Probably one of the most loyal horses Sovereign Light Stud owned. As Ace thought of that, he realized that Jay really had a lot in common with Sam. So... maybe he also had things in common with Josh?
Surely, he had.
"Hey, buddy", Ace whispered to Jay. "Let's party like we're f'cking porn stars, shall we?" The stallion snorted. Ace shortened the reins and Jay immediately started cantering. When Ace pushed him forward a bit harder the stallion was absolutely sure that it was really Ace on his back and not some weird hipster with a mask and the same voice as his beloved human. Determination showed up in his eyes. Oh, yes. Let's party.
