btw, do you paint on your photomanipulations? i smudge, but i dont know if i should paint

Thanks so much for the feature!
I do use the smudge tool but quite rarely. Usually I paint with a soft brush set to around 60% opacity and flow ( its not fixed as it depends on the surface). Also, if necessary, I then set the layer to maybe soft light or overlay. Hope this helps
