Description With a map i had to draw on my hand and trusting an out of date website that it was indeed the number 82 bus i needed to catch I somehow ended up on Punggol Beach, Northern Singapore. When i got there I experienced the worst storm i have ever seen, visibility was literally about 10m or so. Thankfully the skies cleared and i managed to get an afternoons work in.

This beach was one of the more interesting ones and with it being west facing i got to see the sun dip below the horizon. Typical for singapore however, the horizon is ruined by a mass of boats!

My first attempt at duotoning so be nice.

beauty! i think the boats on the horizon add to the photo, make it stand apart from a typical beach shot.

yeah, at first i hated the busy horizon, but ater a while i warmed to it a lot and i came to appreciate it for making these shots different than my usual beach work. thanks a lot for taking the time to comment this.

i blended the image as i would normally using different exposures and then greyscalled the entire thing. I then used used curves with masking to create the highlights i wanted. After this i duotoned the image with a gentel green/blue colour. This was my first duotone attempt so im glad you like it
