Hippuddle. The Water Hippo Pokemon. A Water-type. Drinking water grants Hippuddle more energy. It can expel said water as a way to defend itself from predators.

Hippuddle is the Water-type starter of the Veune region, and has Torrent as its Ability, while being able to use moves such as Bubble, Bite, Bubble Beam, Ice Beam, Ice Fang, Dragon Pulse, Avalanche, and Hydro Pump.

Hippuddle is themed after a hippopotamus and its Water-typing stems from hippos living in wet environments such as lakes or swamps. Hippopotas and Hippowdon are similar, however they are Ground-types, I chose making Hippuddle a Water-type due to the lack of a Water Hippo.
