Description
As you can (hopefully) see this is a cup inspired by the great Cheshire Cat.

I bought a white blank cup and painted the eyes, mouth, stripes and words on it with special ceramic paint and a brush.

I tried to capture the modern version of the Cheshire Cat from "Alice in Wonderland" directed by Tim Burton cause I prefer it to the old Disney one (especially the turquoise-striped fur is so adorable ).
As help and reference I used this drawing here: [link]

On the handle I painted turquoise stripes so that it looks like the tail of the cat.

And on the other side of the cup I wrote: "Grinsekatze" which is the German word for Cheshire Cat ("grinsen" = to grin).
It's also one of the nicknames for my brother and I made this cup for him as a little birthday present

PS: This will also be my entry for the "Cute vs Horror contest" [link] by ... the Cheshire cat is pretty cute but the mouth with the teeth is creepy too (well, at least I find it creepy!).
