Description
This is a tattoo design that someone from work wanted. We got to talking about some of the tattoos he had and he wanted a Darth Vader Samurai to match some other samurai tattoos he had. I told him that I was an artists and had something that he'd like and did this for him. It had to partly match a tattoo band on his arm because that was where he wanted it. It was tricky, but this was the best I could do because of the small wide area. This work and style is based off of an artist, Tsuneo Sanda, that did a shogun version of Darth Vader in a star wars tales comic book that I have. When I did the figure, I still had some more space, so I put in the background the japanese flag of the rising sun. The sun was the death star firing off at one angle. Then I put waves on the bottom so that the tattoo artist had some play to merge this work into the band.
