Description
This is actually a project I´ve been working on between other works and it´s going very slowly because of this.
I started this back in June and now I was finally able to finish the first part of this project, which is going to be a gift for my mother (aka the biggest Hobbit movie fan ever...)
There should be two more characters stiched next to Thorin: Bilbo and Gandalf.....but my mom suddenly thinks that Fili and Kili would look good as well....so it´s still a suprise (even for me) who follows next.
I bet she goes for Balin and Gollum in the end......Pattern: The pattern was created by me in Photoshop, using official ,,The Hobbit" promotion pictures. It´s not available for download or sale.

Yes, I was actually thinking, of stitching them together in one piece, but haven´t found any good reference, yet.

Na gut, ganz im Ernst:
Ich lasse Blut, Schweiß und Tränen, wärend ich mir Wochenlang den Hintern aufreiße um am Ende ein Sagenhaftes, besticktes Stückchen Stoff in den Händen zu halten, das einfach nur anbetungswürdig ist.

Das "Stückchen Stoff" Hättest du vielleicht in " Ein goldenes Fließ"

Well yeah, my mom really loves R. Armitage in his role as Thorin. It´s actually pretty rare for her, to go into ,,fangirl-mode", but she makes an exception just for him (and for Auron from FFX....) and when I showed her the finished Thorin, she gave me a strange ,,uuuh~wiiii~" sound, instead of just saying that she likes it

Haha yeah, you can descripe her as one of the ,,cooler moms", even if she isn´t a young girl anymore.
She even goes with my affections. Let´s say I like a character very much, she pretends him to be good looking or ,,sexy" as well even if she doesn´t really thinks so
But when we watch The Hobbit together, we ,,argue" about who´s getting who. She tells me I can have Oin or Gloin or Bofur and she takes Thorin and Kili

I haven´t read the book in a while, but my mother did and when we talked about the 3rd movie, she that Fili, Kili and Thorin would most likely die. 
Maybe Jackson is a little sentimental and changed the ending

Im Vorschaubild dachte ich erst, es sei Edward Norton in "American History X" und war sehr erstaunt über das Motiv. Ein Zwerg macht da allerdings viel mehr Sinn.

Naja, in AHX sieht er schon etwas anders aus, auch wegen des dunklen Barts. Und es war ja auch nur das Vorschaubild, das mich verwirrte.

Ich kenne A.H.X. leider gar net und musste mal wieder googeln um zu sehen wie Norton da ausschaut. Ich den Bildern nach zu urteilen, ist das wohl nicht seine charmanteste Rolle, hm?

Der Film ist sehr ambitioniert und beschäftigt sich damit, wie seine Familie (er und sein Bruder) in die rechte Szene kamen und woher dieser Hass und die Gewalt kommen. Sein Charakter ist da sehr ambivalent, denn der Film zeigt ihn auch, wie er nach dem Gefängnis geläutert wieder rauskommt und damit klarkommen muss, dass die alten Kumpels und auch sein Bruder erwarten, dass er weiter mitmacht. Ich finde den echt gut.

Der ist von 1998. Da war Herr Norton auch noch knapp 15 Jahre jünger.
