Description
This was taken a couple of days ago, there was a thin strip of sunset and hte rest were these moody clouds that i love so much, so i got out as far on the rocks as i could and shot this.HDR from 5 photos, tone mapped in photomatix.

Very very impressive. I've played with photomatrix a few times, but with haven't had much luck with it, guess I need to keep trying

Just keep trying, my first few attempts were so die-er i considered quiting leaving HDR all together.

A good hint is to not have the light smoothing as low as possible, it makes it to chaotic, and also try as often as possible to avoide "halo-ing" a good way to do this is to up the luminosity as much as possible.

Cool. I'll keep this in mind. I've got a couple of ideas that I'd like to try, maybe I'll go snap some pics tomorrow, and give it a shot. I'd do it today, but don't have my tripod. Doh!
