Yeah right it was sad. I can feel your pain, following a characters path a very long time, packed with adventures, obstacles to overcome and great character developement of the heroes. And then the female protagonist dies. But maybe think about this one: When the story ended the narrator mentioned that the curtain for this story fell so the theory is that "Katanagatari was just a play in a theatre. And when the curtains fall the actors show themselves, even the ones who have "died", and thank the audience for watching! So taking it from an optimistic point of view: The character Togame may be dead but instead you ll see this pretty chick of an actress who played her role very well! And with this in mind we could leave it like this and be thankful that stories are able to leave us to our wishful thinking and making up Theories about them. So if you have nt been scared away by this massive block of text yet let me thank you for reading this
