The three Polar bears: male Tom, female Bora and female Alberty (Ursus maritimus, LednΓ medvΔd) from ZOO Prague, the Czech Republic.DID YOU KNOW THAT... sometimes polar bears go into towns and villages? They can break into buildings to find food.

In zoo Brno we have adult polar Bear called Umca (actually he's father of one of these bears

I confess I don't like the concept of zoo particularly, I think animals should live in their natural habitat.
Anyway, cute story of Umca.

I agree, but I still like the zoos for their meaning of conservation. F. e. DvΕ―r KrΓ‘lovΓ© zoo is very important for African rhinos and their survival. And to be honest, I think that if the animals had so much food in the wildlife as they have in the zoo, they wouldn't even move from the place too.

They have food but they don't have freedom.
Anyway I see what you mean about conservation.
Let's put it this way: in a perfect world there would be no zoo, but we don't live in a perfect world.
