Been meaning to post this another old drawing but my mind got distracted. x3 And... Probably already the famous target for art thieves / shippers.

In Timetale, I sometimes canβt help but imagine this as the important initiation of connection, as soon as the kids shook their hands in the sign of friendship for the first time before everything goes out of hand unexpectedly. Once holding each otherβs hand, the normal image around them slowly changed, fading off drastically into another but a more negative one. Of course, none of them is aware of the effect nor visions of future.
Well, as how Sans and Chara met each other, it'll be found out in story!

Kinda wish this was finished. Or colored. Kinda wish there was a black and white lineart version so I could color it in myself. I love the layout and setup. I never realized the kid in the front was supposed to be Chara, I always figured this was two different versions of Frisk and Sans meeting. Pacifist and Genocide.
I don't suppose you'd consider posting a black and white lineart-only page of this? It'd be so much fun to get in full color that I'd do it myself just to see it happen.

That's HIGHLY unlikely. In Undertale, Pap has never seen a human at all, and there have been six between Frisk and Chara. Only boss monsters (Toriel and Asgore) are immortal, so the odds of Sans having been alive, unless he and Pap aren't really brothers, is ridiculously small.
In this artist's Timetale AU pretty much everything has gone all to hell and nothing is like it was in the games, though. Hell, Sans and Alphys are a thing, completely subverting the one ship centrally cannon to the game. Sans ain't even lazy. I stopped following the story because I just couldn't buy into all the characters having their personalities totally rewritten like that.
Still love this drawing, though.

Erm... Maybe all monsters age slower than humans?
Or maybe-just MAYBE...
Skeletons are Boss Monsters, just like the goats? I mean, Sans IS the hardest boss in-game, which makes him a LITERAL Boss Monster...
So, maybe if a cretain monster gains a high rank (i.e: Royal Scientist, head of the Royal Guard), its species become Boss Monsters.
I dunno, this is just a theory I made to prove Allesia's point. And I'm not doing this only because we're both Romanians.

Boss monster souls remain when they dust and Pappy's doesn't. The game makes it clear boss monsters are a species, not a power level, else Toriel would be worth WAY more XP or something. Actually, she doesn't give you any at all, if you're paying attention.
Which begs the question, what is XP? I don't think anybody has heard of a human going on a human killing spree and becoming that powerful and emotionless. Perhaps the magic from the dissipated soul being absorbed into the human is XP?
Kinda doesn't alter my statement that the whole cast in this story has had their personalities completely rewritten. -_- Why even bother using the UT cast for a story if you're gonna do that? O.o

Well, this is one relationship that is definitely full of complications.
I really like the art in this one! The contrast between the two young kids meeting for the first time and the two older versions fighting is incredible, and it makes you feel all the more sad for Sans.

Doesn't it makes you feel bad for Chara too? I mean, they did ended up horrible. According to the fans that support the "Chara is not evil" theory, the Genocide Route makes Chara to descent into madness, and Sans is the only one who can stop it, by forcing Frisk to reset.

I mean, if that's what's going on in this AU, sure, I'd feel pretty bad for Chara too. I'm kinda neutral when it comes to Chara stuff; I like fan-works where they are evil, I like fan-works where they are good/misunderstood, and I like fan-works where they are neither really good or evil. So long as it makes for an interesting story, I don't really care. :3 The possibilities just make the story more fun.
