There's --- [link]No longer time ago I found out that she was going to have a new design modeled after robot's design in Archie Issues. She won't have cheek fluffs anymore, and some clothes slightly similar to Amy Rose's ones too. QUITE strange no?!

Her new look looks like... i dunno. It's lame and makes her look like a military personnel mixed with a spoiled child.

Actually the real reason why she's being redesigned is because the artists are just LAZY. No, for real, this whole redesign was NOT brought on by SEGA.

I think the re-design is a reason to stop fans attacking Sally which is truly ironic. XDD It's really amusing me, for some reasons lol Honestly I don't like the way Sally looks. Let's see what Sonic and others will say once Sally shows up in next issues lol 
I don't know how they can be SUCH lazy? I mean looks at Sally! In her old version she's PRETTY easy to draw, but one with clothes? I bet it'd take LONG to do! Pfff. Who knows? lol

You know, this strategy that they are pursuing with the new "design" reminds me of when Democrats try to siphon off voters from the Republicans in order to gather more support. It does not work, it will only alienate their base, and in the end makes them look like wimps who desperately pander to anyone. Overall it is a losing strategy.

I like the Sonic comics just fine personally, and while I admit I will kinda miss her old/classic look, I'm not really bothered by her new redesign. (Which isn't even finalized yet, so some things about it might change, especially depending on which artists draw each issues.)
Plus it's not like she's the only Sonic character to be redesigned. (Bunnie Rabbot, Sonic, Amy, and even Robotnik/Eggman himself come to mind. Most of those I like better then their old looks personally, but that's my opinion.) Also, don't forget about Sally's "long hair" phase.
To quote Ian Flynn, pants aren't going to ruin her character. She would be a very shallow character if that were the case.

You know I was skeptical of Sally because I never read the comics but seeing the love artists put into drawing her just about made a secret fan of her. She's just so cute!

I use to follow the Archie series intensely, but sadly I feel they jumped the shark around the time of Sonic Adventure 2 came out and they tried to be more like the game. Although it was a great game it was the last good hit in the sonic series. And it's sad sega had to take the comic down with it. I miss SAT AM more than I can say.

Sally's new design is different, and I like the current style better, but character designs are always evolving. I think they over-simplified her face though.

Yeah, I was annoyed when I heard about it too. They're making her conform to the double standard of clothing that Sega gives Mobians...not cool, but we can't really do anything about it. At least they didn't stick her in a typical "princess" type outfit (ie, a dress). But she needs to be able to keep the cheek-fuzz at least

Woah! You are awesome. I just couldn't stop watching until it ended. You are amazing. It occurred to me while watching that the redesigned Sally doesn't need that much detail. What does THAT tell you(it tells me that the artists are on their way to becoming way past lazy bitches, that's what. They could use someone like you)? Anyways, keep our Sally!!!!!!

Where's the proof of this redesign? I checked the wikia and she's still roboticized as far as their summary of her goes(I haven't been "up to date" with the comics since #202 so I've been using the wikia to keep track of things).

Back last year, they announced she'll be deroboticized soon enough. And when she does, her upgrades and changes will be incorporated into her new physical appearance. I can't find the original slideshow pictures they showcased, but fan-art has been kind enough to help me out here on dA.

Ostensibly, it's to put all of the characters on even footing with the overall "Sega art style." Sally's redesign has been hotly contested with the fans, though.

Wow I was expecting something totally different. That looks fine. It's different sure but she looks like she's matured and maturing her look is nothing but good. I was either expecting a dress like Amy's as Allesia led me to believe and with your statement I expected her to have something exactly like her roboticized form's "suit".

Still, if you'll note the "suit" notion is actually in play. ...So to speak.
The color of her clothes, primarily black and blue come from her "weaponized" chassis. The lack of "fluff" on her cheeks is also an alteration from her roboticized form. In short, it's a plot-convenience that allows for the corporate mandates that the comic book characters have to be more "on-model" with the rest of the video game cast.

Everything's for sure on that change being caused by Eggman? Maybe she comes back in the black suit or her old clothes and then feels like changing herself so she gets new clothes. And perhaps she'll be the one to trim her cheeks and give herself a haircut. A haircut is symbolic of maturing oneself. Also, she's always worn blue so it's not purely from her roboticized form.
As far as I can tell, the design was released without any notion as to what caused the change. I have no problems with the change.

What I'm REALLY saying is that because everyone THINKS it's kids stuff it BECOMES kids stuff while at the same time as it BECOMES kids stuff everyone THINKS it's kids stuff. It's like an abomination cross between circular logic and a vicious cycle. And because of it, the sonic fans like myself are at risk of becoming like an endangered species.
