Description
This is the underside of the chassis of a 1941 Zenith console radio. The wires in many radios from the late 1930s to early 1940s have crumbling rubber coating on the wires. This is why you never want to plug in and turn on an old radio, unless someone has inspected or repaired it. I am replacing nearly all the wire and capacitors. Those are the yellow things. Radio works like new now. good for another 70 years.
It's a fun hobby.
