Description Dong!

The ringing of the cloister bell was the one first notes of the song, followed by a low guitar riff, building up epic energy.  This was one of 64 songs she had on a random playlist as a morning alarm.

Nolene's eyes opened to the gentle rays of the morning sun filtering through her bedroom curtains. Stretching, she slid into her cozy slippers, picked a cute pink outfit, a wig and a necklace, before making her way to the heart of her home.

Every element in her kitchen contributed to a welcoming atmosphere, the walls were warm grey tiles with oranges and mangoes painted onto the ceramic.  The backsplash was made up of blue and happy yellow subway tiles.  Above the little dining table, pendant lights hung with a metallic finish that illuminated the space.  Two small potted herbs, one succulent and three Venus Flytraps sat on the window sill. Her dish towels and potholders was popcorn and melted butter themed. Nolene's carefully chosen elements created a cozy apartment kitchen that created warmth in the small space.

A new song started when 'Enterprise Clears Moorings'  played on her entertainment system, a good epic opening to her day.   A few minutes later, she was singing to  'A Little Wicked' and 'Bring me to life'.

In the kitchen, Nolene prepared her coffee, the rich aroma filling the room as the percolator worked its magic.  She glanced out of the window, watching the world come alive outside.  With her coffee in hand, Nolene settled at the kitchen table, where a plate of toast with strawberry jam, six sausage links, a pair of hard boiled eggs and a bowl of fresh fruit awaited her.

Nolene was surrounded by a comforting array of family photographs and soft blankets in her apartment. Her usual days were often filled with laughter and warmth, but there was an undercurrent of challenge that lingered due to her new medical condition, these dizzy spells.  Nolene was searching for a specialized medical service dog, a beacon of hope for her when a friend had referred her to a reputable dog agency renowned for training and providing service dogs. Excitement and anticipation had filled Nolene as she eagerly awaited news about a canine companion.

AImee, the AI on her phone went off Do-Not-Disturb mode and her phone buzzed. Retrieving it from the table, she saw a text message from her brother, Amari.  *Hey sis! I hereby order you to report to my house at 4 PM. Babysitting duties await you! Bring your A-game!*

Nolene chuckled at her brother's playful tone. She typed a quick reply,  *Your orders are duly noted. I shall arrive promptly at 1600 hours, ready for duty.*

Nolene added a little more creamer to her coffee and sat down her phone.  "Message two of three.  You have a message from Kohei and Nolene Kyung. Text Translation complete." AImee announced.

"Read it please AImee"

A female voice with a slight Korean accent played over the entertainment system,  ""Hi Nolene!   We hope you're doing well.   I hope it's okay, but my daughter is working on a school assignment and was wondering if you could help her. If you have some time, could you please lend her a hand? She'd really appreciate it, and so would I. Let me know if you're available for a phone call.  Thank you!  Best,  Kohei""

17 hours separated Pacific Time to Seoul time,  Nolene sent a message for Kohei to call her anytime between 6 PM and 8 PM, local time for Kohei.

Her phone buzzed a third time, a woman with a slight Swedish accent spoke.  "Dear Nolene, I wanted to provide you with an update on our ongoing efforts to find a suitable support dog for you.  Despite our sincere and dedicated efforts, we continue to face challenges in locating a dog that meets the specific criteria required for your unique medical situation. The search has been thorough, but the specific needs and conditions make the process more intricate.  We want to assure you that we are fully committed to finding the perfect match for you. We understand the urgency of this matter. Your understanding and patience during this process are greatly appreciated. We will keep you updated on any progress and remain hopeful that a suitable support dog will be found for you soon.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.  Blessed Be, Marie Fredriksson"

The recorded voice of an agency representative echoed through the kitchen, her heart was sinking with each word. The hope that had brightened her days flickered momentarily, clouded by the reality of the ongoing search. She couldn't help but feel a tinge of frustration and sadness, wondering if her dream of having a devoted companion to aid her during dizzy spells and warn her of an upcoming dizzy event, would remain elusive.

Despite the setback, Nolene's spirit remained unbroken. She took a deep breath,  disappointment washed over her briefly. She understood that the journey to finding the right service dog might take time, and setbacks were part of the process. Nolene continued her morning routine with unwavering optimism, holding onto the belief that the perfect medical assistance dog would eventually come into her life, bringing with it a newfound sense of security.

Her day now had a purpose other than a pair of medical appointments as the anticipation of spending time with her niece and nephew brought a smile to her face.

Handi-Dart's location popped up on her phone,  it was due to pick her up in two hours.   Nolene finished her breakfast, thoughts of the day's tasks and plans danced in her mind. She relished the solace in the simple pleasures of a tranquil morning.  After her first coffee, she walked to the sink, a familiar pressure in her head crept over her.  She was determined to shake it off when her vision blurred momentarily as a sudden dizzy spell struck. Ignoring the initial warning, she steadied herself against the kitchen counter, trying to shake off the disorienting feeling.  The room seemed to spin and tilt for a moment, and Nolene closed her eyes, taking deep breaths in an attempt to regain her balance.

A determined resolve burned in her as she straightened up, determined to overcome the sudden bout of dizziness. She did her best to invigorate her senses, thinking and looking at five items nearby that she can touch.  However, fate had other plans and the room around her seemed to tilt again.  In a disoriented state, she knocked over an empty plastic bottle of orange juice. Nolene was trying to regain her balance, took a step backward, only to find herself taking a few half steps to her left.

She fell backwards, reaching out to the table but misjudged the distance and angle to the table, her head hit the side of the table.  The impact of the hard fall echoed through the kitchen, a stark contrast to the bustling energy that had filled the space just a few minutes earlier. Nolene was now knocked out and flat on her back on the wooden floor.

AImee detected the fall, Nolene was unresponsive to the AI's voice prompts, AImee called 911 for an ambulance, an emergency text message was send to her mom and to Calliope.  The AI also unlocked the front door.
