An angel I wish I wasI'd be beautiful
An angel is pure and just
I'd simply know what to do
An angel knows the truth
I'd see in darkness
An angel knows their heart
I'd be sure of myself
An angel sees no grey
I'd respect those boundaries
An angel has grace
I'd be sure-footed
An angel has wings so pure
I'd fly to tops of mountains, forget for a little while
An angel sees purity
I'd finally trust
An angel I am not
I have these things called 'quirks'
I am not pure and just
I have made mistakes
I am not aware of truths
I have yelled at false lairs
I am not a love doctor
I have damaged it many times
I am not black and white
I have intentionally sought the grey
I am not graceful
I have often bit my tongue, stubbed my toe
I am not capable of flying
I have used books and pens for wings
I am not endowed enough to see purity
I have created a wall
An angel I am not.
