Description Due to the subject just about filling the frame at life size, which led to a rather unpleasing composition. I shot two frames and merged them in photoshop to give the subject some space.

Saves me having to change lenses and flash setups.

MPe-65, MT24ex Twin Flash and 350D.

Really nice detail on this one.

Question: Does your camera have a "panorama" mode? I just realized today that mine does. It also has a way to focus on numerous objects in the same picture.

If your camera has a panorama mode, you should consider finding a nice ant's nest and shooting in that mode across the top of the ant mound. Doing so you could really capture the interactions between numerous ants which would make for a neat photo.

The panorama mode would also mean less work for you in PhotoShop.

Just a suggestion.
