After theΒ critiques left from my previews submission I've tried to improve my techniques Β in different areas and try new things and not just limit myself. Although hair is still a thing that frustrates the hella out of me. I did several other attempts before what you see in from of you.This took forever to do, it was only meant to be a quick paint, but I ended putting in hours.... And hours of stress.
The cloth was a pain in the bum, there was an explanation in my scrapbook thingy.
I think in future ears are something I need to focus on more.
I like the eyes. Background was a bit rushed.

This is too cute to handle! Aww I love this so much! I love the brightness on Fluttershy. Her mane looks so real! The way you drew that is fantastic. The light in her eyes is very interesting and eye catching. One thing I love most of all are her beautiful eyelashes. They look so soft and realistic. I love the little cherry. The cherry stands out just as much as Fluttershy does. I also love the scenery they are in. The snow glows bright enough to help Fluttershy and the cherry stand out! The only thing I'd maybe work on is her eye outline. They're meant to be dark, but the way Fluttershy is shaded makes them look a little bit odd. They look 3Dish. Overall, this is so cute! I love your art a lot! Great great job!

Just to start out I really like this piece A LOT it is very nice. The Mane is, in my opinion, is the best part. You really made it look like you drew each and every hair, and how you wrapped the hairs to give it a connective look is a rare and awesome touch. Now I feel like that the eyes could use some more work to make them as exceptional as the rest of the picture, for instance I noticed that you made most of her with shading but that her eyes still have some hard lines. Now I seriously think this is amazing but critiques are for you to get better so next step no hard lines, and maybe some more detail in her eyes like lines in the iris with slight color variation (but still blue), it would be basically be what you did to the mane. Great work !!!

I hate the mane in my opinion, it lacks depth and generally I don't like it. Yeah.. I pretty much did draw every strand. :') Although I did have a hair brush (Brush which made multiple strands). But mehh, I don't like it. I'm currently working on something which looks a hella lot better. I know what you mean, hardlines are good but only in they're perfectly smoothed. Something which Tsitra360 does very well, I was watching one of his tutorials and I was just lost in amazement at what was going on in front of me. Obviously something which comes in practice. Doesn't help as I'm still using my wrist to much, although after years of 3D modelling I'm sort of use to repetitive wrist movements. (Sounds kind of wrong, hahahaha).
I'll take your suggestions and I'll throw them into my current project. I can see where you're coming from. Thanks for your comments, to kind! ^^
