I love that we can only tell you have a head (some would argue, the most important part of the body) through those two tiny dots of reflection off your hair.
Is your left hand cut off because it's holding the camera? The way it's just missing is bothering me. I don't know if I would even notice if it weren't called "self portrait" though. It's a difficult matter, because you don't want to include too much in any picture iether...

yup, that is pretty much the situation. I'm nearing finals and I have 15 credits plus water law review.....I have no life this semester.

wonderful shot, i love the pose, it just manages to look so graceful and elegant (which is fairly unusual with male nudes... but much appreciated when i find them *nod*) kinda makes me wonder what you're hiding though... oh and the tattoo is awesome, and just finishes off the shot perfectly. all in all, great work ^^

this is a great shot. wonderful lighting and perspective. the contrast is beautiful. i like how the photo as a whole really flows together, but the body itself is in a very awkward, almost uncomfortable looking position. and the tattoo is a wonderful touch. beautiful work.

Thanks, yeah, actually it does have an awkward sort of King Richard III (not that I aspire to be him or anything, he was rather brutal, nor do I have a hunchback) sort of look to the pose. Thanks for your comment.

.... when i saw this in my watch i had to look twice, this is prolly one of the most artistic shot i have seen you do. you have managed to use your body as a tool for the art..... the way your arms are reaching backwards makes it look so contorted, the high contrast also adds to the abstract nature of the capture. nice work.

natural lighting.
yes that tattoo is real, its a tribal alligator I designed that wraps around to the front of my leg. It was four sessions about $500

Is that tat real? If so how much did that thing cost you?
I like the pose and lighting of this what did you use for the lighting?

absoluetly stunning picture! powerful, moving. So much grace in expression. its good to see artists unafraid to use thei bodies in artistic expression rather than as a 'sexual appeal' tool. wonderful stuff! keep it up!
+ cool tattoo! ^_^
