I know! It's hard to believe how big giraffes are. Unfortunately he/she was clear across the enclosure, but it would've been so awesome to get up close and personal. I think the little deer things are some kind of gazelle, but I don't remember now. I decided next time I go to the zoo I'm going to take a picture of the sign by the animals as well as the animals lol...that way I'll know exactly what they are

They probably are gazelle, I couldn't think of their name and so I just went with deer

I do think it's quite large. According to wikipedia [link] it covers 64 acres, or 260,000 m2
