| Key Facts |
- Firepaw has amnesia. She hit her head when she was swept down the river, and has forgotten all her life about Tideclan. She was raised to believe she is full Pineclan.

- Contrary to my drawing above, she is thin. Her metabolism is very fast, so no matter how much she eats, she remains skinny. She looks and is fragile.

- Firepaw has CIPA — a rare genetic disorder that makes her unable to feel pain. This is bad. It means that she has to check herself constantly. She wont know if she ate something bad, if she scratched herself in her sleep. She won't feel pain when she breaks something and will keep walking on a broken paw. [link]

Spunky | Despite her physical problem, Firepaw is always first to offer her help. She is courageous when she should be cautious, and energetic over 90% of the time. She doesn't let her blank spaces in her memory get her down, she lets it encourage her to make up for that time by making the most of the present.

Careful | Due to her CIPA, she has to be careful what she does. Its habit for her to check herself after she does something. Check for scratches, rough skin, rash, bites, thorns, etc. She is careful what she does, and how she does it. This doesn't affect her courage though.

Forgetful | She wasn't born with a bad memory, she actually had a great one. But after she hit her head in the river and ended up in pineclan, her case of amnesia affected not only her past, but her short term memory. She forgets things quickly, and only with repetition does she remember others. This makes her apprenticeship harder for her to complete.

Clingy | An unconscious part of her personality, sine her dip in the river, she clings to whoever is closest to her. She has an unconscious fear of being left alone, and as such, tried to remain beside someone for as long as she can. She is dependent on those closest to her to help her when she needs it.

Born to Tornwing and Warmbreeze of Tideclan, Firekit was an only child. She was born with a condition that made her unable to feel pain. no one knew this until she was 1 moon old. She had been playing outside, and tripped, falling down onto something sharp. She had been bleeding for a few moments, but contiinued her play until Warmbreeze spotted her kit covered in blood. It was discovered that she hadn't felt it, nor any other pain. After this, her parents became overly protective.

As Firekit grew, she was taught to look over herself when she woke up, and before she went to bed. She often found small scratches she had recieved, but after that incident at 1 moon old, nothing overly bad had happened.

When Firekit was 3 moons old, almost ready to be weaned, Warmbreeze went with Tornwing on a walk. During this time, it started raining. It rained for a long time, and the rain was heavy. It didn't take long for the camp to flood, and when it did, the nursery overflowed. The rain water swept the moss and the kit out of camp. No one noticed, everyone thought the kit was with her parents. A fellow warrior had been left to watch the kit, but after the flooding began, they had forgotten the kit and focused on themselves.

Firekit was swept into the river, and the rushing rapids drove her hard against the rocks. Her head was hit more than once, and by the time she washed up in pineclan on the riverbank, she was unconcious. A Pineclan apprentice, Applepaw, only 6 moons at the time, found her. He had been sent to look at damages, and when he found the kit, took her back to camp.

Pineclan

Firekit was unconcious for 2 days before she woke up, and when she did so, it was easy for the healer to realize her health mutation. She was covered in cuts, her head was split, but she acted as if nothing was wrong with her.

Aside from the cuts, bruses, and multiple fractures, she had amnesia. Having hit her head, she couldn't tell where she came from. The only thing she knew was her name, Firekit. She was given to Robinsong to foster, and as she healed, she grew close to the queen, and her daughter. The apprentice that found her became one of her closest friends.

By the time she was 6 moons, she was healed, but still didn't remember her past. The decision became final, she would remain in Pineclan. 2 more moons, and she was showing promise as a member of Pineclan, and had found her place in the clan.
