Body Adalei is a slim human, with average everything. Average teenage bust size, average teenage female height. Nothing is unordinary about her. There is nothing special, perhaps aside from her hair, with is very thick, and very long.
Face Her eyes as the same color as her pokemon form, a purple, grey color. Emotion is shown constantly in them, making her an open book. Her lips are small, and very soft.
Specials Adalei has nothing special about her, she is, as spoken, Average.

Friendly | Shy | Caring | Active | Curious | Romantic

Friendly | Adalei believes that there are no enemies until a reason appears that will cause that to occur. Therefore, she is nice to anyone she meets, be it human, pokehuman, or pokemon. She used to fear humans, but has since gotten used to them. She welcomes conversations with them, for they had many interesting things to say. She will rarely decline an invitation, because she wants to make friends, and saying "No" will never make that possible.
Shy | While Adalei will make friends to the best of her abilities, she will never actually be the one to instigate a conversation. If invited somewhere, she will agree, but stand around awkwardly until someone talks to her, or includes her. She prefers to stand on the sidelines, which does make it harder to get friendships to form, but she is always friendly about it. Her shyness makes it difficult to allow friendships to form, for it takes an outgoing person to get her to open up, and someone friendly in turn to take that first step to introduce themselves.
Caring | This pokemon, and pokehuman, is not the type to see someone in need, and walk away. If a little bit of Pokedollars can make or break someone's life, then Adalei will offer it up. Her job collects a lot of change, and she would rather share this change with those who need it more than herself. She will also go out of her way to provide help to someone, and it is near impossible for her to turn her back on someone who is hurt, pokehuman, pokemon, or human alike.
Active | This is not someone you will see lazying about, doing nothing. Adalei loves to more, and loves exercise. If she has nothing to do, she will go for a run rather than sit and watch tv. Technolgy still scares her a bit, so she will do her best to find something to do that is proactive, and natural. As such, Adalei is a very healthy pokemon due to her way of living, active and constantly in motion.
Curious | Adalei is always interested in learning new things. Since the discovery of the Dittech device herself, she has used the ability to turn into a pokehuman for better chances to learn, and experience new things. She is a very intelligent girl, and the ability to learn, and learn quickly, is one of her greatest strengths. She aims to learn as much as she can possibly fit into her brain, and then some, so knowlegde is literally spilling out of her ears. She reads constantly, fiction, non fiction, even textbooks, when she can get her hands on them.
Romantic | She is a teenager, and as such, the idea of true love remains a thought to her, a future not yet within her grasp, but one that she, like most teenage girls, dreams of with all her might. Not much can be said about this. She believes that the right boy will come around, that he will be just as romantic as those books she loves to read, giving her flowers, professing his love underneath a bridge, with the sunset in the background. Foolish hopes and daydreams of a child, really.

History

Egg-Level 5
Adalei was an egg laid by a ninetales, her second egg, in fact. The trainer for both pokemon had gotten into pokemon breeding as a way of life, and had set his Ninetales and his Arcanine together, hoping for eggs. The first egg was a male growlithe, and the egg was given as a birthday gift to the trainer's nephew, Joseph. The egg hatched, revealing the pokemon inside. Leo was the name given by the young boy, and he was determined to be the best trainer. That trainer is not where this story begins, for at this time, our little girl wasn't enough a thought yet.

Years later, after many successful eggs, sales, and more, another one of the breeder's nephews came of age. The next egg that was hatched from his original two was gifted, much like the first. This young boys name was Issac, and on his twelfth birthday, was given a pokemon egg by his uncle.

Issac was a bit special, and his lack of friends worried his mother, who thought a companion may do him some good. When the egg hatched, revealing a growlithe, a female one, Issac was happy. He adored his older cousin, who had been given the very first egg from the breeding, and who was on his way to becoming one of the best trainers ever. Joseph was staying with Issac and his family due to the loss of his own parents before he was born. So Issac and Joseph were close.

Now, Joseph had already leveled up his Growlithe, or Leo, and had gained a few more pokemon of his own. Issac set off on his own, but it didn't last too long. Picking up a few other pokemon, Issac began to spend less time with his Growlithe, who he had named Adalei, or Lei for shorter. In the first five years with her, he had trained her well, and they had gotten really close. Soon, however, he wanted more. Adalei was strong, but he knew his cousin had stronger pokemon. Adalei was only level one when hatched, and already she was level 5. It wasn't very quick training, but she felt like she was learning nonetheless.

Level 5-10
Now Issac was 16 years old, and Adalei was 4. Issac had discovered his love of fire pokemon, and so he had picked up a couple more pokemon. Pansear was added, and had quickly become Issac's secondary pokemon, but Adalei was still his favorite. Pansear was nicknamed Smores, and while Adalei had thought it to be lazy, Smores loved it. Issac continued his training, and Smores and Adalei became close. The closest of friends, and when Smores surpassed her in levels, Adalei finally began to notice something. She was being brought out less and less, training only when Smores had fainted or tired out.

By the time Adalei was 9 years old, She had only leveled up to 10. Smores was stronger than her, at level 13 now, and he was only 6 years old. Adalei began to worry, even more so when a charmander joined the team. He was already level 14, and was older than Adalei, at 11 years old. A year later, and Charmander, nicknamed Ilast, had evolved into Charmeleon. Smores was not yet evolved, and Issac was now 21 years old. He had been back home for awhile, and Adalei had gotten close to Joseph and Leo, thanks to Leo's determination to keep in touch with his little sister.

Level 11-Level 15

Adalei was 12 years old when she was run off, and ties with Issac were severed. That's a bit ahead of ourselves, but let me explain. Ilast, the Charmeleon, had decided that Adalei was adorable, and had given her the task of becoming his follower. She was happy to do this, for he had promised to train her secretly, when Issac was off. She fetched him berries, and tended to him when he was worn out from battling. She developed a crush on the strong pokemon, and that crush didn't stop. She resumed her place beside Issac, and finally, she began training again. Issac had spotted his cousin, who had evolved Leo into an Arcanine shortly before hand, and had decided Arcanine was an amazing pokemon.

Adalei's training picked up, and it only took two years for her to go from Level 10 to Level 14, amazing Issac, who hadn't seen her imporve so quickly before. She replaced Smores as the favorite once more, and she was out of her pokeball constantly now. Ilast hated this, however, and whenever he got a chance, he shouted insults at her, picked on her, and even attacked her when Issac wasn't looking. Their Trainer was oblivious to the abuse his first pokemon was suffering under the claws of his third, and more pokemon joined the team. None of them were significant, but they did take some focus from Adalei, making her safer from Ilast, who became jealous of the other pokemon.

For Issac's 24th birthday, his cousin gifted him a Fire Stone. This stone was needed to evolve Adalei into an Arcanine, and that is what Joseph expected of his cousin. The next time Issac met up with Joseph, a pokemon had indeed evolved. Smores had been given the Fire Stone, and the Pansear was now a Simisear, at level 18. Ilast was level 23, and Adalei was only Level 15. Joseph argued with Issac, right then and there. Leo stood beside his sister, or rather, stood over her, protecting her from Issac, who, in his anger, had started throwing things. Growlithe was small, compared to her brother, and flinched everytime she heard hurtful words from her trainers mouth.

Issac never laid a hand on his first pokemon, no harm was dealt from the human. He let Ilast out of his pokeball, and the Charmeleon went straight for Adalei, dragging her by her tail out from under Leo's stance. Joseph sprang to action, and sent Leo to defend the young Growlithe. A battle occured, and Adalei ended up escaping, running for her life, sporting scratched and damage done by Ilast's attacks. Joseph spotted her running, and temporarily released Leo, to go protect her until she felt safe returning. Leo knew he had a place with his trainer, but he had a duty to his family.

Level 16 - 20
Adalei was never released from Issac's control, but she got far enough away she didn't worry so much about him anymore. She broke her own ties with a trainer who didn't care for her as much as he had, from a trainer whose interest in his pokemon had faded, instead focusing on building a strong team, rather than bonds with his pokemon.

Leo found Adalei a year later, when she was 13 years old, and had gained experience on her own, level 16. He sheltered her, and together the two continued living, making friends, and helping each other get stronger. Adalei went from a weak little pokemon to a strong Growlithe by the time she was 16 years old. She had her brother had ended up in Lumiose City, and soon, got word that there was something out there that would change the way of Pokemon life. Leo seperated from his sister, and a week later, returned with two of of the items needed.

Giving on to his sister, Leo promised her tha, no matter what, they were siblings, and he would lvoe her. Adalei nodded, and they hugged each other as they tested the device, both fearful of what may occur.

Adalei stood in front of her brother, eyes wide. She was a human! She looked like a human, and fear stabbed her in the stomach. She knew it was nerves, so over the next few months, she got used to this form. She found a skill she had, and started practicing it on the corners of the streets. Soon, her art became noticed, and she began selling her art as a way to support herself and her brother. They spoke of moving away from each other, but for now, they live together.

Level 21

Since receiving the Dittech device, Adalei has become comfortable in her pokehuman body. She tests things daily, and has a dream of becoming a beauty technician. Having no real method of doing so, and finding herself to be less than pretty, she sticks with what she has.

She has gotten stronger since then, due to excersises performed as a pokehuman. Evolution she wants eventually, but again, she is fearful. She stays away from water pokemon, and any evolution of charmanders and the like, she fears. She has a future, and she plans to make something of it, now that she is closer to humans.

Role-Play Example

Fear was filling the little growlithe to the brim. Leo stood over her, protecting her as she watched her very own Trainer throw pokeballs around, the town map, anything he could find in his bag. Anger flooded the human male, and as such, fear flooded the female pokemon as she huddled underneath her brother. Issac's hands were grasped into fists now, and as she shouted something that Adalei couldn't quite make out, there was the all to familiar red flash of a pokeball, releasing a pokemon from its holding unit. The familiar scent reached Adalei's nose just as pain flared through her tail. claws, digging into her soft flesh, heat coming from the mouth clamped on her tail.

She dug her claws into the ground as she was yanked from underneath Leo's protection, eyes wide as pain and fear began to mix. Ilast stood over her, claws digging into either side of the ground beside her as he snapped his teeth above her face. "I've waited a long time for this, pretty girl" She let out a shriek as he bit her shoulder, and just as quick as he had done that, he was shoved back. Leo stood over her once more, eyes glaring hate at the Charmeleon. Joseph, Leo's trainer, barked out a commend, and Leo leapt forwards, headbutting the fire pokemon once more. Adalei watched with wide eyes, shaking limbs, and tears prickling her fur as they rolled down her cheeks. She couldn't take it.

Turning, the growlithe ran, as fast as she could, and as far as she could. The yell of her trainer was in her ears, fading as she put distance between her and him, and she kept running, refusing to stop until her legs collapsed beneath her.

Ilast stood over her, claws digging into either side of the ground beside her as he snapped his teeth above her face. "I've waited a long time for this, pretty girl" She let out a shriek as he bit her shoulder, and just as quick as he had done that, he was shoved back. Leo stood over her once more, eyes glaring hate at the Charmeleon. Joseph, Leo's trainer, barked out a commend, and Leo leapt forwards, headbutting the fire pokemon once more. Adalei watched with wide eyes, shaking limbs, and tears prickling her fur as they rolled down her cheeks. She couldn't take it.

Turning, the growlithe ran, as fast as she could, and as far as she could. The yell of her trainer was in her ears, fading as she put distance between her and him, and she kept running, refusing to stop until her legs collapsed beneath her.
