Over the course of millions of years the Sovereign Swarm has assimilated many species into their ever growing swarm and in the process they conquered many worlds and wiped out entire civilizations.

When the swarm arrived over Darwin IV they did not expect complex life to evolve on the planet but when they looked closer they discovered they were wrong, one the surface all sorts of creatures have called this dry world home. While scouting through the remains of a plaque-bark forest they discovered the remains of a dead animal that has been drained of its juices and they soon saw what killed it, A man sized creature known as the daggerwrist, they also noticed it is very territorial as it attacked a swarm warrior but was quickly killed. After that they began to assimilate the daggerwrist into their swarm. They made their version of the daggerwrist larger than the ones seen on Darwn IV standing around 17ft tall and weighs about a 289lb and gave it the ability to camouflage them selves during missions which requires stealth and they made the claws much sharper and stronger. They are now able to run faster on land and is able to stay airborne much longer aswell.
