This is a new project I've been working on for a while. Technically I photographed it out on this very hill in Sweden earlier this year with a borrowed telescope and friend as a model. I used around 100 led balls that I placed out around the model and moved around to create the effect of the stars on the ground and giving light on the grass around them. I moved the lights back and shot several exposures all the way to the hill on the right side, I then added stars in post as well as it would have taken forever otherwise. I also added some flash light hitting the model to increase the effect of him being lit byt the surounding stars, this was removed in post.I would love to hear your thoguhts!

This is a great and creative idea! I like the idea that the looks for the stars, like the titels says, but the stars are near by him... it's like when you searching for... don't know, love orΒ appreciation for example and you searching in the distance for it... but it was the whole time in yourΒ immediate vicinity... ^^

Man, that's super creative use of the LED's, the attention to detail with the flashlight reflection and the coronas around the stars is great.
