"Ew, no." Lyle said in disgust. "I mean, I'm gay." He explained.

"Then why do I have to get rid of my clothes?" I asked, more confused than before.

"You look like you got dressed in the dark... In American Eagle." He added.

"Well I didn't feel very creative this morning." I shrugged.

"Nooo~ You're feeling down because you feel guilty." Lyle corrected.

That was odd. How'd he know? That's weird.

"I'm gay. Girls hang out with me almost twenty-four seven. You get the gist of things like this." He explained. And before I could speak again. "There's a bag in the corner with some clothes. Jared gave me your measurements, so they should fit." He sighed.

"Um.. thanks, and how did he get my..?" I kind of had to ask that.

"I can't tell you that. It won't make him seem appealing." Lyle sighed and stood up. "I'll make sure no one comes in while you're changing so I'll be out here." He said as he opened the door.

"Sure." I nodded and went over to the bag.

Damn these are nice. I had to say to myself. Tattered black skinny tripps, and red and black corset, and a plaid trim hoodie! I just had to scream. It's like Lyle knew me. No, it's like Lyle was in my head changing my style ever so slightly. Of course I ditched my clothes, tossing them in the trash. No, I don't have that luxury, but I just got a new outfit so: Out with the old, in with the new, right? I ran over to the door and before I could open it Lyle did, and before I could say thanks he grabbed my wrist and dragged me down the hall.

"Now what?" I asked, a little annoyed, but he kept quiet this time. "Lyle, tell me where we're going!" I ordered.

"We're ditching!" Lyle cheered.

"Real subtle, Lyle." I rolled my eyes as he continued to drag me away.

"Why, thank you, Lilly." Lyle said, I could hear the smile in his voice. "But this is a form of punishment from Jared, so don't be too happy." He added a warning.

"Aw, and I thought you liked me." I sighed.

"I do." He said happily.

"Oh, well then it's not so bad." I shrugged. "But I can walk on my own." I said.

"I know, but this is more fun!" Lyle grinned.

"Are you having a gay day?" I asked.

"Very much so." He nodded with a wild grin.

"Then let us go..?" I sighed.

"Yes, let's." He said and we were off towards the parking lot.

It took us all of two seconds to get there and by then we were cracking up at how our school's security sucked. It did. Any retard could get out through the office and not even get caught, I mean, seriously. Skipping isn't that hard. Especially with Lyle, who seems to be one of the funnest guys I've ever met. He isn't fem, but he's good with clothes and he fights proffesionally. I thought that was pretty cool.

We got to his car and it was some kind of Range Rover, but I didn't care. It was a dark purple with dark tinted windows and it shined as if he drove it off the lot yesterday. He opened my door and put me in, and as I was getting settled I saw an L on the headrests to the seats. I laughed at it for a moment and he got in. The engine started and it hummed quietly, just like Jared's. He pulled out of the lot and drove down the road.

"It's cheesy, yes. I like it, though." He snickered.

"So, where to Lyle?" I asked before buckling my seatbelt.

"My apartment. Well Jared's apartment. I can't tell you why but no worries. I'll return you home after the weekend, but first you need to break up with Shard." He said and handed me his cell phone.

"Um, why now?" I asked.

"Because he's an asshole. And you deserve better." He paused. "And Jared told me to get you to break it off with Shard."

"Fine." I rolled my eyes and looked at the key pad.

"Let me guess, you don't know his number." Lyle sighed.

"No clue." I nodded.

"Good thing I got it from him, then, eh?" He said as he pressed the contact button and punched in an 'M' in. "Marley" showed up as the first contact. I sighed and pressed send grudgingly.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

"Hello?" Marley's voice greeted, sounding a little confused. Marley had told me he had study hall so I wasn't weirded out by the fact he picked up the phone this early in the school day.

"Hey, um, it's me... Lilly." I said hesitantly.

"Oh, hey, babe. What's up? You sound like something's bugging you." He said a little concerned.

"I want to break up." I said quickly.

"Why..?" He asked, confused.

"You slept with Patty. I can't trust you and I can't date a guy that would do something so low." I said in another quick slur of words.

"I did not! Who told you that?!" He denied it.

"I saw you and her so don't deny it." I said. "Don't sit next to me on Monday, alright?"

"Don't you mean at lunch?" He asked.

"I'm not going to lunch." I said and closed the phone. "Happy?"

"Jared will be later." Lyle nodded. "Now as for Shard, later you'll find out why Jared didn't want you around him.

"Whatever. Why does Jared even care? We hardly know each other." I shrugged.

"He likes you." Lyle smiled. "He's kind of not good at showing it."

"Well not from what I saw." I said and pouted.

"What did you see?" He asked, confused.

"The picture with Patty..? Patty playing with him at lunch? Them leaving together half the time? There are a bunch of clues."

"Well Patty is a slut." Lyle stated, it is common knowledge. "So it's only to be expected that it's easy to show affection to a slut."

"Well, whatever." I rolled my eyes and folded my arms across my chest.

After a ten minute long ride we stopped in front of one of the few apartment buildings in town. I looked at Lyle and he smiled at me, turning the keys. The engine went silent. He unlocked the doors and opened his door, getting out quickly.

"C'mon." He said and waved for me to get out of his car, I obeyed and went up to his side.

I looked to find a green BMW in the space next to us and next to Lyle was Jared's black Mustang. He's home?! I shrieked in my mind.

"Come on, let's get inside. It's supposed to rain later." He said with a smile and soon lead me into the building.

It wasn't anything special, pretty average for an apartment. We entered an elevator and Lyle pressed the "6" and soon we were slowly accending. After a long elevator ride the doors opened and instead of a hallway I found a loft, filled with guitars, a punching bag, couches, and a flat screen TV. But it was a little messy,

"Welcome to Licenciatura Cámara." He breathed.

"Meaning?" I asked, confused.

"Spanish for Bechelor House." Lyle grinned. "I blame Mr. Cardine at my old school."

"I never took spanish. German's where it's at." I smiled.

"No, El español es en donde se." He said.

"Meaning?"

"No, Spanish is where it's at." He chuckled.

"Nein, nein, Deutsch ist die Scheiße!" I cheered.

"Meaning?" He asked confused.

"No, no, German is the shit!" I cheered again.

"Well girl," He snapped his fingers. "You work that German!" I laughed at his attemtp to be fem.

"Well girl, you be rockin' that Spanish." I snapped my fingers back.

"Now that that is out of the way," He chuckled. "How about the grand tour?" He put his arm out for me to take.

I took it, "Lead the way, oh wonderous Lyle~" I smiled and before I knew it he had lead me through the living room area and towards the kitchen, which was surprisingly clean.

"This is the kitchen, pardon me for stating the obvious." He laughed. "And back there, obviously, was the living room." He gestured towards the living room.

"Now what about the bathroom?" I asked.

"Slow down, don't get ahead of the tour guide." He said as he towed me down a hall. "This is my room, here." He pointed to the first door on the right. "That's Nicko, my brother's room." He pointed to the one across the hall.

"Okay, I don't know him." I shrugged.

"Didn't think you did." He said before dragging me down the hall further. "Bathroom." He said as we passed the open door. "Don't use that one, though." He warned.

"Why not?" I asked.

"No one ever puts the lid down." He sighed.

"Oh." I said a little confused.

"But anyways, that's Jared's room." He gestured to a black door. How creepy!

"Why does he have a black door?" I asked.

"When someone's here they don't know where the light switches are so they walk in the dark, right? So they can't see that there's a door here. Nicko has had a couple of his ex's come back to pretend to make up with him and then try and get-" I cut him off.

"I don't need to know about his ex's trying to hook up with Jared." I finished for him.

"Well then, I'll have to show you the "safe" bathroom for you." He chuckled. "It's connected to my room so no worries."

"So.. now that the tour's out of the way.. Why did you bring me here in the first place?"

"Why don't I explain that.." Jared's voice suggested from behind me.
