In Celtic mythology the Oak is the tree of doors, believed to be a gateway between worlds, or a place where portals could be erected.

The lighting on this is really beautiful. Yes the oak a wonderful tree. Yesterday in the winter woods the oak leaves were whispering as I walked in the bitter cold.
