Description
Namahage (生剥) is a fierce looking Yokai with a demonic face, horns upon the head, a straw coat and holding a knife. In the dead of winter they go to people's homes, admonishing children who may be guilty of laziness or bad behavior yelling phrases like "Are there any crybabies around?" or "Are naughty kids around?"
